What I do
The word campaign is a tad overused. The actual definition is “an organised course of action to achieve a goal” and that’s exactly what a campaign is, although what that looks like in practice can vary massively.​ There are fundraising campaigns, behaviour change campaigns, mass mobilisation campaigns, political campaigns, paid advertising campaigns, marketing campaigns, and integrated campaigns.

What I do at Campaign & Consult could sit under a few of those categories, but my main focus is on integrated campaigns that aim to drive mobilisation, behaviour, or political change.

Mobilisation - Encouraging a mass audience to take action
Behaviour - Encouraging a specific audience to change their behaviour for the better
Political - Encouraging public support for a policy ask
An integrated campaign brings multiple channels together under one consistent message, all working toward a single, clear goal.​ As a campaign consultant, I help third sector organisations find that central message and align all stakeholders around it (which can often be the toughest part!).
